- CD Alarm 2.1 -- How to get help
- ---------------------------------------------
- There are a number of ways to get help with CD Alarm. If you
- are having problems with CD Alarm 2.1, you should perform the
- following steps to find out how to resolve your problem.
-
- 1. Read the README.TXT file that is in your CD Alarm 2.1 folder.
- This file contains important late-breaking information about CD
- Alarm.
-
- 2. See the on-line Questions and Answers document for the lastest
- information about CD Alarm. You can get to this document from
- CD Alarm on the Web, under the Help menu. If you do not have
- Internet access, a version of this file that was current as of
- the time it was uploaded is saved as CDMANUAL.RTF in your
- CD Alarm 2.1 folder. You can read this file with any word
- processor capable of reading Rich Text Format (WordPad, for
- instance).
-
- 3. Check the Product Updates and Patches page--also available
- from the Help menu. Make sure you have the most recent version
- of CD Alarm, as each version fixes problems that may have been
- seen in previous versions.
-
- 4. If you are still having problems and cannot figure out how
- to fix them by yourself, e-mail the author at:
-
- jensen.harris@yale.edu
-
- I try to answer all e-mail as quickly as possible, but because
- I get a large quantity of mail, sometimes it takes me a little
- while. Please be as detailed as is possible in your problem
- report, as this makes it much easier for me to determine what
- the problem and or fix might be.
